Inclement Weather Policy
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Johns Hopkins University follows the closings of the public school systems within which Osher classes are held. School systems make their determination by 6:00 a.m. – even if the weather looks fine by 9:00 a.m., school may be delayed or closed! Always listen for information if inclement weather is forecast, as well as the day after we've experienced a storm.
Last minute changing weather conditions might necessitate that we deviate from our stated weather policy when school systems have remained open or close. When in doubt, call our phone/voice mail to get the most up-to-date information on the status of our classes.

We will follow the school system with the most cautious closing (i.e. if one opens 2 hours early, and one opens 1 hour early, we will use the 2 hour early delay).
