Dedicated to lifelong learning, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Johns Hopkins University (formerly the Hopkins Evergreen Society) was created in 1986 under the auspices of the former School of Continuing Studies (now Carey Business School and School of Education). Now part of the Johns Hopkins Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, Advanced Academic Programs, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Johns Hopkins University's mission is to enhance the leisure time of semi-retired and retired individuals by providing stimulating learning experiences and the opportunity for new friendships. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Johns Hopkins University builds on the rich resources of an internationally renowned university to offer members an array of educational and social opportunities, including:

  • Access to the university library system
  • Field trips to cultural events
  • Preferred participation in university-sponsored events

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Johns Hopkins University programs are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at the Johns Hopkins Montgomery County Campus at 9601 Medical Center Drive in Rockville, Maryland.
